OUR PEOPLE AND COMMUNITY

Church of the Good Shepherd - Courtyard
From its beginning, Good Shepherd has been a community of people from many nations. As a former warden once wrote: " Good Shepherd soon became much more than just the worship service. It became a support group, a family of loving, caring people to depend on."

Two congregations, one Chinese and one English, worship here under the same roof and as part of the same Christian community. We have a special opportunity in this community to recognize that we are all one in Christ, and to break through the barriers that divide rather than unite us. Here we meet together to worship and serve God as one: Taiwanese, Chinese, Americans, Australians, Danes, Fijians, British, New Zealanders, Canadians

Fellowship events are an important part of our community life together. We encourage visitors and residents to come to our fellowship activities as truly welcome guests. Depending on the occasion, there may be a coffee hour, a hosted brunch, or a Chinese lunch following the service.
